Kate Bayley and Tadd Sackville-West are headed to Phoenix, AZ to attend this years HDSA convention. The entire film team was able to go last year and it was an incredible and powerful experience. They are excited to see friends from last year and to make new ones.
They are also excited to show everyone a new piece of the documentary. There is a sense of community at this convention that is like no other. Understanding and love seem to flow from the convention rooms to the dance party and Gala. One big family fighting together for understanding and an end to HD. We are proud to be a part of such a strong group of people.

Part of the documentary team, Tadd Sackville-West and Kate Bayley just returned from filming in Tanzania, Africa. They were part of a group of 13 that successfully made it to the summit of Mnt. Kilimanjaro. Courtney Blethen and her friend Erika were the inspiration for this trip. Courtney tested gene positive to huntington's after losing her father to the disease. She and Erika decided they weren't going to let test results stop her, they set a goal to raise money for research to help stop Huntington's Disease. Check out their climb site at

Tadd filmed for the documentary telling the story of how a small group of people can come together to make a difference. Many of the climbers are directly affected by huntingtons.
The story will be told through the experience of people engulfed, enraged, embattled and empowered by the effects of one of the "unknown" hereditary diseases: Huntington's.
Our mission is to inform and bring a deeper understanding about HD. But first and foremost this film will be about the stories of the people it involves. These universal human themes will carry the film. They will compliment each other in a delicate and powerful way. Knowledge is power. This film aims to spread both Knowledge and build Power within the HD community and beyond. Through the stories in the film - we will bear witness to the questions, triumphs, struggles and daily life. By sharing stories, the film will spread Knowledge within the HD community as well as strengthen communication, encourage understanding, offer solace, honor the courage of all people affected by HD.
